Blogging seems to be on the rise as many schools and districts are beginning to utilize this online tool to depict their news, publicize their events, and, most importantly, allows users to create discussion boards. Blogging allows for parent/student and community participation and feedback for campuses rather than just using a website as a one directional news forum. The neat thing about blogging is that the campuses/district teachers can create discussion boards for interaction between teachers to students, teachers to teachers, and/or administration to teachers, and so forth. It is a great tool for the classrooms to generate discussions and engage students in critical thinking skills and improve reading/writing skills
